What it is: telc's C1 German exam for university entry.
Who needs it: People applying for a German-taught degree at a German university. Under the national rules for German language tests for university study (RO-DT), a pass frees you from the DSH or TestDaF. Your university's own admission rules still apply.
Who runs it: A licensed telc exam centre
Format: Written: reading plus language elements 90 min (telc.net lists one time), a 20 min break, listening about 40 min, writing 70 min. Speaking about 16 min, usually in pairs, with 20 min to prepare. Digital, hybrid or paper. Can be taken in parts.
Fee: Set by the exam centre.
How to register: Directly with the exam centre.
Seats: telc does not publish seat counts.
Results: Usually 4 to 6 weeks.
