Does the PKT replace the Fachsprachprüfung (FSP)?
Only in some states. FIA says that for EU degrees the PKT is recognised in Hamburg and Hesse; holders of a non-EU degree must take the C1 professional language test (Fachsprachprüfung) of the state medical association there. In Saarland the PKT Medicine and Pharmacy counts for all degrees. For dentistry, ask your authority first. The licensing authority in each state decides.
